How to order custom art

  • Place your order via the shop section and follow the instructions that follow.
  • If you prefer to pay 50% deposit up front and the remaining 50% on completion, you can contact me directly with your request.
  • For portraits I’ll require a good quality photo for reference. The larger the better. Please understand it is very difficult to work with small or grainy photos or photos taken at angles or in strong lighting as I can’t get a true idea how the person looks.
  • I will contact you within 24 hours of your order being placed to discuss the custom art you require.
  • I will send you a near-complete preview of your image within a week of receiving your order. You can use this opportunity to give me feedback and request any changes.
  • When you are happy with the work, I will send you the full size and full quality digital image or arrange delivery of your print.

My personal guarantee

  • If I cannot complete your order for any reason or you are unhappy with the work I produce I will refund your payment in full.
  • My preferred method of payment is Paypal as this provides you with buyer protection and assurance when placing your order.
  • There may be times when I have a back log of work to complete, but I will let you know about any delays and give you the opportunity to postpone or cancel your order should you wish.
  • It is my goal to provide a friendly and efficient service from the moment we make contact. If you have any issues or uncertainties, please let me know and I’ll do my best to help. It is very important to me that you are happy with your custom art.

Disclaimers

  • I aim to send a near-complete preview within 1 week of the order being placed, but the time to complete the final painting will depend on any revisions or changes you require.  
  • If you want me to repaint your portrait from another photo or to another specification after I have started work, you will incur an additional 30% redraw fee. So please be sure of what you want before I begin your commission.
  • I will replace lost or damaged items, but I cannot be held responsible for postal delays so please be sure to order any prints with plenty of time before any birthdays or other special date. 
  • If you prefer that I don’t share your commission in my portfolio please let me know and I will honour your wishes.
